Grantmakers for Education 23rd Annual Conference Request for Proposals
The proposal period closed March 19. Thank you for your submissions. Applicants will be notified in late May.
Grantmakers for Education invites members to propose learning sessions for our annual conference — Supporting Students in Overcoming Adversity: Agency, Justice, Equity, from February 19 to March 19, 2019. Only Grantmakers for Education members may propose conference sessions (learn more about membership here) – doing so is an exclusive member benefit.
We are seeking provocative proposals that proactively prepare funders for the future using engaging formats, innovative ideas, diverse perspectives and a focus on impact. Proposals should have clear learning objectives, specific strategies for engagement, and relevance for funders. Proposal topics should have clear connection to the conference theme and Grantmakers for Education’s operating principles.

Important dates:
February 19, 2019 — Submission period opens.
March 19, 2019 — Proposals due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific.
Late May 2019 — Applicants will be notified about the status of their proposals.
October 8, 2019 – Conference registration deadline.
October 22-24, 2019 — Annual conference in New Orleans, LA.
