In the United States, approximately two million people each year enter postsecondary education for the first time. Eight years later, one-third of those who started have not earned any formal credential and are no longer enrolled.This report is the second in a series that analyzes the characteristics of this former student population and their postsecondary education enrollment history and pathways.
