Career and technical education (CTE) is often lauded as a way to provide meaningful pathways to economic mobility for students. Yet, as CTE draws renewed interest from the philanthropic community, as well as other stakeholders, the imperative to ensure that it is equitably recruiting, retaining, and graduating students also increases. This session will spotlight practitioner approaches to addressing equity at three key points in the evidence-building continuum: from program development, to evaluation and scaling. Attendees will develop action plans to ensure grantmaking supports equity goals.
