Democracy is defined as "a system of government by the whole population or all eligible members of a state." But the reality is that everyone's voice has not been represented in decisions to guide policy and practice at all levels--especially in the the use of data to guide decision making. This session will highlight how funders can support community and individual voice in how their own data is being used and protected while building the trust and transparency which is critical for democracy to survive.
