The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and its president Raj Vinnakota has brought a cross section of ideologically and geographically diverse organizations together to develop a field of civic learning. Hewlett, Koch, Helios, and others span the ideological spectrum, yet they have found a common cause; that diversity of leadership has continued into a second year of this work. In this session we intend to share our perspective on civic learning, how this collaborative was formed and maintained, and discuss the potential impact of leveraging strategies like this in other areas.
