The Grantmakers for Education Workforce Impact Group examines programs and pathways that provide existing learners and potential workers with the skills needed by employers. The group incorporates experiential learning to identify effective pathway models that link education to employment. Our programs included a study tour to the Pathways to Prosperity initiative in Peoria, Illinois. The Workforce Impact Group plans to continue study tours in 2022 to various locations and explore emerging practices in workforce readiness and career and technical education.
