GFE Impact Groups: Engaging Deeply, Acting Purposefully

Take advantage of Grantmakers for Education’s network of education philanthropists, unparalleled in size, scope and commitment, by joining an impact group around a shared topic area of interest. By working together in this structured yet flexible format, GFE members can build on the knowledge and resources of many foundations, enabling impact groups to carry out initiatives and generate concrete outcomes not possible on their own.

Arts Education Impact Group

We work to increase national support for culturally relevant arts and cultural education opportunities available to youth through member advocacy and professional development.

Learning, Evaluation & Data (LEAD) Impact Group

We strive to empower deeper engagement among members to collect, interpret, value and act on educational data to improve philanthropic practice, policies and strategies.

Out-of-School Time Impact Group

We create space for members and practitioners to stay connected and informed of evolving needs in the OST field and create ongoing conversations about how funders can respond.

Postsecondary Access and Attainment (PSA2) Impact Group

We work to increase the number of learners who access and complete postsecondary education or training, with a focus on historically underserved populations.

Racial Equity Steering Committee

We work to support programming that enables deeper conversations among members about racial justice in education and essential changes within systems and in grantmaking.

Workforce Impact Group

We engage in experiential learning with members to explore emerging practices in workforce readiness and career and technical education, connecting education to employment.
