Webinar: Unlocking the Pipeline: New Principles for Postsecondary Education

Program Dates
March 23, 2016, 10:00-11:15 AM PT

Wondering how your grant awards can create a bigger impact in postsecondary attainment? Join us for a webinar to learn about Grantmakers for Education’s new Postsecondary Access and Attainment Impact Group (PSA2), our activities for 2016, and our innovative new co-investment initiative to significantly increase the number of students completing college and close attainment gaps for historically underserved populations.

Registration deadline: March 18, 2016

Attend the webinar to learn more about PSA2, this innovative initiative and how you can get involved. Speakers include Kelly DeForrest, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Eric Garen, Garen Family Foundation.

Just now in its formative stages, the initiative is being built around design principles developed last fall by leading postsecondary organizations and emphasizes proven practices such as placing the vast majority of students directly into credit-bearing work with effective support; refining mathematical and other academic content to align with each student’s choice of academic direction; and helping students stay on track to a college credential.

You can be part of PSA2 and help shape this initiative. The opportunity is open to all members of GFE’s PSA2 Impact Group. Any member of GFE may join PSA2, and membership is free in 2016.

If you are concerned about postsecondary attainment, this is an event you won’t want to miss! Register for the webinar here.
