Although 14% of our nation’s population lives in rural communities – and 20% of K12 students attend a rural school - only a fraction of our nation’s philanthropic investments is aimed at solving the complex challenges facing rural communities and their education systems. This session will highlight the unique challenges K12, postsecondary, and workforce systems face, the strategies they are implementing, and the lessons funders are learning in supporting rural education.
