Program Dates
April 25, 2019, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. ET

Register here. Principals are the second-strongest school-related factor contributing to student success, research shows. In this webinar, Pennsylvania's secretary of education, Pedro Rivera, and Jody Spiro of The Wallace Foundation will explore how their partnership has advanced their work, enhanced the role of principals, and supported school improvement. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has been intentional about the role of the principal as they implement its plan aligned with the Every Student Succeeds Act. Secretary Rivera recognizes the important role school leaders play from his own experiences as a principal. Pennsylvania is one of several states that have worked closely with The Wallace Foundation to create an opportunity for supporting school leadership as a lever for school improvement.

Created in partnership with Council of Chief State School Officers. Registration closes April 24.
